1. Definitions

• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any written service arrangement confirmed between Bik Wan and a resident's family.
• "Services" — the lifestyle support and residence arrangements offered by Bik Wan, as described on the Site.
• "Resident" — the individual receiving support or accommodation at Bik Wan's premises.
• "Family Representative" — the person or persons acting on behalf of a Resident in relation to their arrangement with Bik Wan.
• "Site" — the website accessible at bik-wan.blog and all associated pages.
• "Content" — all text, images, descriptions and other material published on the Site.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this Site, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements.
• You are accessing the Site for lawful purposes.
• You accept these Terms and Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site or submit enquiries through it.

3. Description of Services

Bik Wan is a non-medical senior lifestyle community located at 5 Conduit Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong. We offer three main arrangements:

• Daily Living Support — light domestic assistance and regular friendly check-ins by a named host.
• Excursions and Day Outings — regular small-group outings within Hong Kong with comfortable transport and host accompaniment.
• Complete Residence Living — an all-inclusive arrangement covering private accommodation, meals, housekeeping, outings and community activities.

The precise scope of any arrangement will be confirmed in writing between Bik Wan and the relevant Family Representative before the arrangement commences. Services are provided in Hong Kong and are not available remotely.

4. Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through this Site does not constitute a binding service agreement. A service arrangement is only entered into when:

• Bik Wan and the Family Representative have discussed and agreed the scope and terms of the arrangement; and
• Both parties have confirmed the arrangement in writing.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within two working days.

5. Payment Terms

• All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and are stated inclusive of applicable taxes unless noted otherwise.
• Monthly arrangements are invoiced in advance on agreed dates and are payable within 7 days of invoice.
• Prices published on the Site are indicative and may be subject to change. The confirmed price will be stated in the written arrangement.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of arrangement.

6. Cancellation and Variation

• Either party may propose changes to a service arrangement with reasonable notice, as agreed in the written arrangement terms.
• Arrangements may be brought to an end by either party with written notice as specified in the individual arrangement. We will always aim to handle transitions with care and consideration for the Resident.
• Refunds or credits for unused portions of prepaid months, where applicable, will be handled in accordance with the terms of the individual arrangement.

7. Acceptable Use of This Site

You agree not to use this Site to:

• Post, submit or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory or misleading.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Site in any way.
• Use the Site for any commercial purpose unrelated to enquiring about Bik Wan's services.

8. Intellectual Property

All Content on this Site, including text, design, images and organisation of material, is the property of Bik Wan or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print individual pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute or otherwise exploit Content without prior written permission from Bik Wan.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and its Content are provided on an "as available" basis. Bik Wan makes no warranty that:

• The Site will be available continuously or free from errors or interruptions.
• The information on the Site is complete, current or free from inaccuracies.
• The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Nothing on this Site constitutes professional medical, legal or financial advice. Families considering care arrangements for a relative are encouraged to seek independent professional guidance where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bik Wan's liability in connection with the use of this Site or any service arrangement shall not exceed the amounts paid by the Family Representative to Bik Wan in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Bik Wan shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages of any kind.
• Loss of data, loss of business or loss of opportunity.
• Damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, civil unrest or government actions.

11. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to external websites. These are provided for convenience only. Bik Wan does not endorse, control or accept responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party site. Use of external links is at your own risk.

12. Privacy

The collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. We will always seek to resolve concerns informally before resorting to formal proceedings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes affecting existing service arrangements, we will notify the relevant Family Representative directly.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. These Terms, together with any written service arrangement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bik Wan with respect to the matters covered here, and supersede any prior communications or understandings.
